You will recognize this scene as the photo on the home page of this website. This photo was taken in the summer of 2015 through the window of a plane with skids that was in the process of landing on the Ruth Glacier in Denali National Park in Alaska. This was one of those photo opportunities where you have only one chance to take the photo. The original photo was in color, with the hanging glacier in green with white snow on top, and the solid granite mountain in a dark graphite hue. I preferred the B&W version for its dramatic presentation of God’s creative handiwork. The clouds are a perfect compliment to the scene, telling you that your altitude is very high. After landing on the glacier we walked around looking up at the mountains surrounding us and marveled at God’s majestic mountains that He spoke into existence.
